# Local IP Databases

These files are downloaded from sapics/ip-location-db GitHub Releases.
|
|
|
|
- `dbip-city-ipv4.mmdb` and `dbip-city-ipv6.mmdb`: DB-IP Lite city data, CC BY 4.0.
|
|
- `origin-asn.mmdb`: origin ASN data, PDDL.
|
|
|
|
Refresh them with:
|
|
|
|

scripts/download-geoip-mmdb.sh
|
|
```
|
|
|
|
The Rust backend loads these local MMDB files on startup and does not call a third-party IP lookup API.
|
